Sampo-yoshi / Three Good Philosophy

Three Good — seller, buyer, society. Echoes Korean reciprocity (sangsaeng).

Sampo-yoshi (Three-Way Good)

A 400-year-old code from Japan's Omi merchants. The Korean equivalent is "sangsaeng" (相生) — mutual benefit.

The Three Axes

  1. Good for the seller
  2. Good for the buyer
  3. Good for society / surroundings

Application to Business

A "good deal" always involves three parties:

  • Profit for you
  • Profit for the counterpart
  • Benefit to your company, industry, or society

Only when all three align does the relationship last. AI-drafted messages have the highest response rates when written under this principle.
